Summer Sales Stalling? Not so says this Report
Summer Sales Stalling? Not so says this report by the Naples Area Board of REALTORS® (NABOR®), the organization that tracks home listings and sales within Collier County (not including Marco Island).
NABOR’s report debunks the myth that summer is the sweetest time to buy ~ after all, more folks tend to spend their winters in the sunshine state as opposed to spending their summers in the south. While that may be the case, summer sales still rank very well in Collier County.

No matter what time of year you visit Collier County, think about owning a vacation home in Naples or Marco Island, or live here permanently — where you can walk to the beach and enjoy the soft, white sand and the warm Gulf water.
Many people consider investing in a second home now, knowing they will retire to the area in the near future.
“It’s smart to lock down today’s prices. Many young families visit relatives in Southwest Florida and realize how much house they get for the money and end up buying a home and relocate to the area. Plus, there’s no state income tax, which is an attractive incentive,” said Steve Schoepfer, 16-year Top Producer for Downing-Frye Realty.
Whether it’s a condominium or a single-family house, living near some of the most desirable beaches in the country is always a big draw. And playing a round of golf or going to the beach year-round never gets old. There are plenty of parks and community-oriented activities as well, not to mention fabulous shopping!
