Housing Market Rising in Southwest Florida
As 2017 begins to wind down, the housing market begins to pick up — “season” is here in Southwest Florida. Winter may be one of the traditional four seasons, but winter becomes a verb in Florida, as in “I winter in Naples,” meaning the place is hopping with seasonal activity everywhere–Naples and beyond.
Though many homeowners continue to repair their homes from Hurricane Irma’s wrath, housing still remained strong for October, all things considered.
A detailed report from Naples Area Board of Realtors (NABOR®) tracks home listings and sales within Collier County (excluding Marco Island). Considering the state as a whole was hit hard by Irma, Collier and Lee counties continue to bounce back in a strong and positive direction.
